A word search is a small discovery game: find the words hidden in a grid of letters. Sunday Anyday gives you themed lists, clear letters, and two ways to mark a word on your phone.

How to play
Choose a word from the list above the board. Look for its first letter, then follow the surrounding letters in a straight line. Words can run across, down, diagonally, and in either direction. In Sunday Anyday, drag over the whole word or tap its first and last letters. A correct word stays marked, and the counter shows how many you have found.
Try a little example
If you are looking for GARDEN and a row reads N E D R A G, the word is there backwards. Start at the G on the right and finish at the N on the left. The same idea works for a vertical or diagonal line. Letters can belong to more than one word.
A comfortable way to search
Start with a word that has a distinctive pair of letters, such as the RD in GARDEN. Scan one row at a time instead of darting around the board. Swipe the word list sideways to see the remaining targets. Use Larger letters if you want a closer look; move the board inside its frame and tap the two ends of a word. Clear removes an unfinished selection, not the words you have already found.
When you get stuck
Open Boosts beside Actions for a small free hint. Saved boosts offer a stronger helping hand. There is no countdown, and you do not have to finish in one sitting. Your progress stays in this browser on this device. Completing a puzzle collects it in your Passport and gives you a clear route to the next game.
